It’s that time of year again where the summer fruits are ripe and ready for picking. We are lucky to have plenty of places locally where you can pick your own.

Bells Fruit Farm, Stourport on Severn
Location: Located on the Worcester Road (A4025) Hartlebury, near Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, DY13 9SA.
PYO OPEN WITH ONE WAY SYSTEM AND SOCIAL DISTANCING USED.
Opening: 9am – 5pm 7 days a week all year.
Picking Your Own means you can pick exactly the size, ripeness and amount of fruit and vegetables that you want – it doesn’t get any fresher! The PYO Field map at the Farm shop shows you where the tastiest fruit and vegetables are on the day you visit.

Clive’s Fruit Farm

PYO FIELDS ARE GENERALLY OPEN (WEATHER PERMITTING) WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING IN PLACE – CHECK WEBSITE FOR UPDATES BEFORE TRAVELLING
Opening: Monday to Saturday 09:00-17:00; Sunday and bank holidays 10:00-16:00 (last entry to PYO at 15:50)
The poly tunnels are located next to the farm between the farmyard and the old Upton-Malvern railway line. They can usually meet all your soft and top fruit needs.
Note: A £2 cash deposit is payable for every person over the age of 2 during busier times to enter the PYO fields, this is then redeemable against the produce you pick from the field.

Hayles Fruit Farm

PYO AVAILABLE WHERE STOCKS LAST
Opening: Tuesday-Sunday 10:00-16:30
Visit during harvest (usually June-July) to pick strawberries and over soft fruit. It is best to call before visiting to check whether PYO is available that day.

Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe

PYO AVAILABLE WITH RESTICTIONS. ONLY 4 PERSONS PER HOUSEHOLD PERMITTED AND GROUPS MUST STAY TOGETHER. SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED. ONE WAY SYSTEM IN PLACE.
Pick your own strawberries, raspberries and cherries from June.
They charge a per person deposit to enter the pick your own field redeemable against the produce you pick.
No deposit required for under 3’s
A £1.00 deposit per child aged between 3 and 10 years old
A £2.00 deposit per person for everyone 11 years old and over

Malt Kiln Farmshop

Opening: Monday – Saturday 08:30-16:30; Sunday and bank holidays: 10:00-15:50.
There is a variety of other crops open for pick your own across the summer months these include gooseberries (mid June), raspberries (late June), tayberries (late June), blackcurrants (early July), redcurrants (early July) and blackberries (early August). They also grow a number of vegetable and flower crops for pyo: broad beans (late June), courgettes (mid July), runner beans (late July), marrows (late July), sunflowers (late July), squash (August), sweet corn (mid August) and pumpkins (late September).
Admission to the strawberry field £2.50per person, children under 2 are free.
The entry prepayment will be deducted from any fruit you pick. No refund will be given if you pick less than the entry fee.

Primrose Vale

PYO FIELDS ARE OPEN – ADMISSION BY FREE TICKET ONLY RELEASED 5PM DAY PRIOR TO OPENING. GROUPS ARE RESTRICTED TO 6 PERSONS AND ALL MUST HOLD A TICKET.
The PYO fields open from late May until October. Offering some fifteen different crops for picking, the most popular being table top strawberries, which are grown on raised platforms so that the strawberries are easy to pick and there’s no slugs, bugs or mud!
