Luckily I didn’t have work today so we could enjoy the snow (well for about 5 minutes until the girls got too cold).
We are planning some cosy days in this weekend with some films and hot chocolate. For those of you who need to venture out here are this weekend’s snow updates.
We will be running the following services from Redditch/Kidderminster. Please allow for some delays as although the snow is clearing some roads have developed black ice.
3/42/47/48/51/57/58 will run a normal Sunday service.
55 will run a normal Sunday service but will not be able to serve Oakenshaw (Castleditch/Pheasant lane).

Catshill Library is closed on Saturday 3 March. The planned storytime and craft session ‘Dinosaurs in the Supermarket’ will be held at Bromsgrove Library instead at 10.30. There’s no nead to book.

All Household Recycling Centres in Worcestershire will be closed.
A litter pick in Evesham organised by the town council has been cancelled due to the snow. The litter pick for the Great British Spring Clean will have new dates published shortly. It was due to take place on Saturday.
The Meadow Arts family workshop due to take place on 3 March at The Hive has now been cancelled.
Attwell Farm Park: We have decided to Close this weekend (3rd & 4th March 2018) due to unsafe roads down to the Farm and All our Hand Wash Facilities and toilets are Frozen up!

Elgar’s Birthpace: Unfortunately we will be closed tomorrow (03.03.18) as the weather is due to be getting worse. This also means that our evening concert by the Volante Strings Orchestra will also be cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience. Stay safe and warm.

Severn Valley Railway: All public services and Footplate Experiences will operate as normal this weekend. The Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea services have been cancelled, and the Sunday dining trains are still to be confirmed. Passengers on these services are being contacted by telephone.

Worcestershire Farmers Market: Sadly we have had to cancel the Farmers’ Market in Droitwich tomorrow (3rd March) due to the adverse weather conditions.
