Visiting Father Christmas

Christmas is not complete without a visit to see the big man himself but the question is where? There are so many magical places to meet Father Christmas whether your little one is a bit shy or wants to tell Santa their entire Christmas list.

I have put together some of my favourites plus some that have been recommended to start you off on your search.

Santa In Love

01 December

Have you ever wanted to know a secret?

A Christmas secret!

Maybe you’d like to know where the fairy on top of the Christmas tree comes from, or why you never see a Christmas elf, or what exactly happened to Frosty the Snowman?

Or maybe you’d like to know the greatest secret of them all… the one about Santa Claus and the thing he secretly loves best.

Could it be presents? Could it be reindeer? Could it be snow?

You’ll never guess, so if you want to find out then join Santa and his friends in this fun filled family musical complete with games, giggles and all your favourite Christmas songs.

Santa will be available after the show to meet your little ones and give them a present, so don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the smiles!

Magic Alley

Address: Bell Court, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire CV37 6QW

I have heard so many great things about this place although I have never managed to get booked in myself. It is based at the Magic Alley which is a family lifestyle, adventure and imagination destination for the explorers, dreamers and storytellers of the world. Lasting around 30 minutes (although it can be longer if you play the quiz) you get to meet Father Christmas and will receive a present.

It has previously been reported to be really crowded but Magic Alley has moved to a bigger premises this year which may reduce this. However, you are still unable to bring in prams or pushchairs which will make it more difficult for those with very young children.

This one is probably ideal for those of you who want a Christmas experience without necessarily seeing Father Christmas. You have the option of booking tickets for just the park or book in to see Father Christmas too. It costs a little more than some places but you can make a day of it.
