Decorate Easter Eggs @ St Peters Garden Centre, Pear Tree Farm, Broomhall, WR5 2NY Worcester, Worcestershire. Join us for fun filled time by decorating Easter Eggs. No booking required. SCBU Easter Treasure Trail @ St Nicholas Park, Warwick. Join us for a fabulous Easter Treasure Trail around St. Nicholas’ Park, Warwick. £2 per child entry, each participant will recieve a small prize at the end of the trail. No need to pre-book, come and join the fun! For more see here

Easter Egg Hunt @ Forge Mill Needle Museum. Good Friday and Easter Saturday sees the return of our egg hunt! 10am-4pm each day; make a basket, follow the map and collect the eggs to exchange for a chocolate treat! £2 each eggsplorer. We are hoping to do an eggstended version over to the Abbey site on the Saturday only for more adventurous eggsplorers but this will be weather dependent

Easter Egg Hunt & Family Fun Day @ Glenhall House. Mill Lane, GL54 4EP Charlton Kings. 12:00-15:00. Botany Bay Nurseries, Redditch

Once again we will be welcoming the cutest bunch of lambs here at Botany Bay. On Good Friday and Easter Saturday from 10.30am – 3.30pm, come along and join us for a lovely Easter event. Tuesday 3rd April

St Peters Garden Centre Easter Pony Fun @ St Peters Garden Centre, Pear Tree Farm, Broomhall, WR5 2NY Worcester, Worcestershire. We are back at St Peters running 2 sessions. The sessions last 1 hour, children can have a go at brushing and grooming the ponies, decorating them in Easter fancy dress. Easter egg hunt whilst riding the pony collecting chocolate egg, followed an egg and spoon races in teams on your pony! Rosette for all for great riding and participation. Big Dreamers Festival. A theatre festival for children in Worcester. This festival is supported by Arts Council England and will see some of the UK’s leading theatre companies visiting the city.

We have performances, film screening and workshops. The festival has different events for various age ranges. Throughout the festival we have events suitable for 4-14 year olds.

Included in our programme is:

A puppet making workshop where you can create your own colourful and unique character out of a peat pot. (Ages 4-6)

Film screenings of My Life As A Courgette and Moana. (PG)

Fresh from a fantastic run at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe we have a performance of Tilda’s Magic Attic. This show uses poetry, puppetry and song to embrace and explore the harder parts of growing up. (Ages 6-10)

An engaging and fast-pace full mask theatre workshop from Worcester based Vamos Theatre. (Ages 10-14)

Two performances of Little Meerkat’s Big Panic. This award winning musical tale helps everyone to see, hear, smell, taste and feel what’s going on in their brains and bodies when emotions become overwhelming. (Ages 4-11 and 11-15)

We also have a highly physicalised, Non Verbal Drama Workshop with Open Theatre Company for young people with learning disabilities. (Ages 11-15)

Prices for these events range from free to £4 each and we have a number of sponsored tickets available for each event.

Penny Dreadful, or, Mrs. Lovett’s Revenge! @ Tudor House Museum

On 11th April, they will be bringing their family-friendly show, Penny Dreadful, to Tudor House Museum! There are chills and chuckles in abundance with this original one-woman show featuring Sweeney Todd’s partner in crime, Mrs Lovett! Be appalled by a plethora of other grotesque characters from the cheap and grisly pages of the Victorian era’s penny dreadful papers, in a theatrical comedy suitable for children and the young at heart. Go on – have a close shave with Mrs Lovett… She’d love to have you for dinner…

Throughout Easter

Spring Nature Trail @ Kingfisher, Redditch. During the Easter holidays, Kingfisher will be transformed into a buzzing nature hub full of wonderful and exciting wildlife to get you into the spirit of Spring whilst your children will learn all about local wildlife. This free Easter activity will give your children the chance to make their way around the Kingfisher using a map to find clues outside our shops, interact with our life sized animal props and then win prizes for correct answers at the end. Easter Trains @ The Evesham Vale Light Railway.

Easter Steam Trains will be running daily from 30th March until 15th April.

Easter Sunday – why not take a train ride and see how many Easter Eggs you can spot on your journey! Children will receive a treat Easter Egg as a reward.

Easter Monday – the railway will be running a two train service with trains every 20 minutes from 10.30am until 4.30pm, bring a picnic and stop off at the playfort and enjoy some of the best scenery the Vale of Evesham has to offer.

Easter Events @ Tudor House Museum

TUDOR HOUSE MUSEUM promises an eclectic mix of events for families this Easter with trails, crafts and live theatre.

Here Be Dragons!

People will follow the trail of strange-but-true place names around the museum before adding their own mythical beasts to our fantastical map of Worcester.
